Everyone is invited to join! I am drinking tonight.
I took my last stomach med at 2pm. It's 7:56pm now, and happy hour is in full effect in the Nelly household. Come one, come all. 
Normally I don't mix my meds with alcohol. So drinking for me is a rare occurrance, but I make up for it in enthusiasm.  On tonight's menu is whisky. I have a bunch of tiny bottles I bought at Heathrow last year (The Famous Grouse, Balls, ...Paddy's!) and they're all up for grabs. I figure if my tummy's going to go out, I might as well have the pain control, well, under control.
A toast! To Heather's site! Can I make anyone a magically safe whisky flip? E-margarita, anyone?

I went to sleep at 8:30 last night. The great news is my throat stopped hurting after the 1st drink. The bad news is that my stomach went out as a result, but at least it didn't hurt. I figured it'd go out anyway, a continuation of the attack I'd been having nights for the last 3 days. It's all good.
Even got up on time this morning for work. In all a good time! Thanks to all who joined me (Online, and in spirit!!)!

Hi Bob-- Yes my tummy's been out for a few days and I'm getting night D attacks again. I have my regular IBS meds but no pain meds left, so I figured that as long as my stomach was out I'd have a few drinks to forget about the pain for a while. No change in symptoms! But a change in outlook.

i've found i can drink beer, which is good, cuz i crave something thats in it....haven't tried other stuff yet..but i'm willing to give it another shot!!
