it's been a while since i've posted...but right now, i neeeeeeeed to.
so, i'm washing my sheets, because there is milk and spit up all over it...i wasn't really paying attention, and threw the sheets in...about 3 or 4 minutes go by and i think to myself "where is my cell phone?" so kapiolani and i are looking around for it, i use my house phone to call it...then it dawns on me "oh s#it, i hope i didn't put it in the washer" so i open the lid, dig around, and i see flashing lights...yep thats my phone,...needless to say i killed it...i called mike, i know he's not too happy with me now either...call it mommy brain,.,call it what you will..i cna't believe i did that!!!!!!!!!!!!! all my pictures all my numbers...EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!! i'm so mad at myself!!!!!!!!!! UHHHHHHHHHG!!!!!!!!!!!

mike called again, he said at least the phone is clean now...but i wontbe able to get a new one for a while since we are broke...lol...not really really funny, thats like my life line! but the fact i washed mine, then my step-sister had dropped her's in the toilet, we are some crazy phone killers!! lol

Let it dry out. Sometimes electronics just get wet, but will still work. You said you saw flashing, so there is hope. I was told that when you dump something on your keyboard (I'm the queen of coffee keyboard) that it can be rinsed while the coffee is still wet with clean water and dried. It didn't work for me because the coffee was dried already.
Dirty calls .... I like that...LOL

My friends young son also flushed her cell phone "accidentally" into the toilet. She dried it with a blow dryer, and all seemed to work ok.
Maybe that was just a little luck...
