Sounds like all of N.America is in this heat wave! My home town was the hottest place in Canada on Saturday!!

It's ridiculously hot here! I'm in Cincinnati, OH for an internship and its been hitting about 100 here. Being from Florida you'd think I'd be used to it but definitely not! Luckily I don't have to be outside too much, otherwise I'm sure I'd be sick from it!

Yeah, we're in a heat wave, too. It's been in the 90s and 100s for the past few days. I guess I'm lucky, though, because we don't usually have much humidity! I went to the east coast for a long weekend last summer, and that humidity made me feel so gross!

It's interesting because I have always felt bad for anyone working in this kind of heat...it's inhumane!!!
Fortunately, we had a breaking point tonight...our almost 100 F weather was broken up because of an absolutely INCREDIBLE thunder/lightning show... Fireworks I've seen paled in comparison and looked like sparklers...Every 2 secs we had crazy Mother Nature showing off!!! Now, thankfully tonight I won't be stuck to the sheets trying to breathe through the "tense air". The energy has changed...amazing.

Finally, a break in the heat wave. It is only in the 70's. YAAY!!!! They tell me that we had a major thunderstorm last night, but of course I was sleeping like a corpse and didn't hear a thing. I guess it's the training from listening to myself snore all these years.

Argh I'm so jealous of those who are cooling off! It's still super hot here and genius me is about to head to a baseball game. Lol not my brightest move but I bought my ticket before this heat wave!

We're in the 90's and 100's with humidity and thunderstorms and smog advisories and UV indexes above 8.
Blech. Still, better than snow, I say.
