I need a hug from my IBS family ... terrible attacks this week.

I haven't been this sick in YEARS. Terrible nausea, pain, D that won't stop even with imodium, slamming down peppermint caps like candy, drinking tons of water and broth, UGH!!!!
I know, I have no right to complain - I've had it too good for too long.
I had a chicken pot pie piece and a side salad from Cultures from Saturday and I was killed.
Please if you have a free hug, I could use one.

It's really hot/humid in Waterloo--could that also be a factor in the nausea/attacks?
I'm sorry you feel terrible. I feel so nauseated that I went out for Gravol yesterday.
Anyways, I've got tons of hugs to spare and more where they came from. So I'm sending you mental hugs.

I've started getting headaches , nausea, and C that will kill me if I don't take a stool sofener. Part of it is because I've been naughty eating nachos, cookies, ice Cream, muffins, cup cakes, jello, and CANDY!!  man I hope we both feel better more you because i don't think you were naughty
Also try to relax a little on the toilet bring a book to read and realx and keep you mind off the pain this has helped me except 2 days ago I was babysitting I had a minor attack oh boy Iwas reallly embarrassed well get well

If you have insurance, ask your doc from a script for Zofran. All it is, is an anti-nausea but boy, does it work great! It's really expensive but if you have drug coverage, try it! I was throwing up for weeks straight from my recent bout with gastritis and this was the only thing that stopped the puking!! Super duper big hugs and all my love-hope that tummy calms down real soon!

you poor poor thing...lots of sympathy, hugs and love coming your way!! I sorry you're feeling so crappy!! I hate it when they just come bolt out of the blue...happens to us all...I just hope you recover quickly.  Not much else I can say...but all the hugs we have in England are coming your way...and REST REST REST!!!

Poor Alicia, transatlantic hugs on the way.
Have you been stressed? I was attack free for ages and worrying about job interviews etc gave me a buig setback for a couple of weeks- I got away with no cheating but once I accepted the job offer and resigned from my current job I got 100% better immediately.

I'm doing a bit better but am not straying far from my SF and peppermint.
And no, hoho, it's not food poisoning because my best friend had exactly the same thing I did. I even called her to check if she was sick, too.
If this keeps up, I think I'm going to go to the doc. A sudden change in symptoms.... plus I'm feeling a little dizzy, too.. don't know if that's the nausea talking or what. And no, I'm not pregnant. No chance of that.
