Yesterday, kayleigh was playing with a necklace that was small. i put it on my wrist like a bracelet. She then said "No, Mommy, that is a NECKlace. Not a HANDlace, a Necklace."  Oh my gosh she is cute!

Oh, they do! And sometimes things you wish they'd not repeat. I used to take care of a boy who told me once: "My mommy shaves her mustache." I just about died laughing. Fortunately mom wasn't there and I never told her that he said that.

My mom, little brother and I were in Detroit and our car broke down. While we were waiting for someone to come pick us up, we walked down the road to McDonald's. We were the only white people in there and it wasn't the greatest part of town. Mom said later that she was a little nervous being in there with us kids. My mom said there was this huge (big and tall) man standing in front of us in line and I said quite loudly, "I like black people, mommy. Black people are just like white people, aren't they, mommy. Everybody is the same." Mom was embarrassed because I'd made a scene. The big man in front of us turned around, gave me a smile and a wink.

Noah loves clocks. Well the first time he saw a watch on someone's hand he said "Look mama a little clock!" I explained to him that it was called a watch and he said with a puzzled look "Watch what?" Gotta love kids!
