but I don't. I have one more Monday session of my 6 weeks and I'm done. It's Gentle Yoga. And while I like the meditation at the end, during the rest of it, I can only wish it to be over.

I'm the youngest one there but feel like the oldest. It hurts. Yes, I know it's not supposed to hurt...but not my muscles so much....but my joints. My knees, my shoulders, my hips, my back, my wrists. I know it's supposed to be good for me but I just can't get into it.

Anyone have the same prob?
I almost feel guilty...seems like everyone loves it...but me!

Very relaxing at the end, but I'd rather do some fun sort of exercise. So I take dance classes, instead.

You're not alone, I really don't enjoy yoga. I too have tried to go, on a few occasions, and it is really not my thing.
I don't find it relaxing, and even at the meditation parts I am trying so hard *not* to think that I get all frustrated.
I would like to be able to do it like once a week for the flexibility and stuff, but I just can't get into it.

I think it's great that you tried it, though! And now you know you don't like it, so you can try something else.

We won't think any worse of you, hee hee.

Thanks everyone. It's just good to hear I'm not alone. I wish someone taught T'ai Chi around here but....there isn't. I'm sure I'd enjoy that.

i went to one yoga class and never went back there were people three times my age more flexible than me!!! I joined a gym and there was a 12 month contract, i went for the first 4 months and never went back so my new thing is....I `m going to start running as soon as i find someone to run with - and train for the race for life which will be this time next year. Don`t feel guilty, just try things till you find something you like.
