83,795$ towards cancer research, PLUS - 2 teams showed up with cash after banking hours from big $$ making fundraisers- so they are going to get added later, and this total doesn't include matching funds or any online monies accumulated over the last few days.

I'm a bit sunburned, tired and windblown... and finally warm and dry and had a BIT of a nap. We were on an astroturf field=no stakes for tents, and a HUGE storm came through from midnight to about 5 AM... my puptent moved with me inside it at one point and it blew downa dn then rained in the air vents... so I got MAYBE 2 hours of sleep!

But despite the soreness, sunburn, etc. I had a ball, raised a lot of money, and helped put together and run an event that recieved MAJOR compliments from people as being better then relays in other cities they had done in years past despite the venue issues... we had good onsite fundraising, lots of caring spirited people, and no- it wasn't crowded or as many people as some of the others, but as someone put ti- it was a LOT less boring too...

the DJ helped make it amazing, he's a wonderful guy and did great work and everything else went over well too!

I just realized I never posted here for sponsors- we can raise $$ for 2 more months and have it count, so here goes:
