I just thought it would be fun to see what people would eat if they could eat anything they wanted to for 1 day without having any IBS pain. Here's what mine would look like:

Breakfast:

Strawberry French Toast(5 or 6 pieces)
3 sausages
Hash browns(Extra salt)
2 glasses of Whole Milk
Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich on homeade bread

Lunch:

Top Sirloin Steak(Huge)
Barbeque Ribs(Extra Sauce)
Corn On The Cob(Extra Butter)
Strawberry Cheesecake for desert

Dinner:

Bacon, Mushroom Double Cheeseburger
Greasy French Fries
Large Chocolate Malt

11:45pm Snack:

Sneak downstairs for a Large Cookie Dough/Butterfinger Blizzard from Dairy Queen!

I've been eating mostly IBS-safe for so many years that my fantasy day of eating wouldn't be a whole lot different from how I eat anyway... just heavy on the dairy, which I do kinda miss now and then.

But here's my day:

Breakfast: A couple eggs over easy, corned beef hash, home fries, and coffee

Lunch: a couple slices of meatball-onion-olive pizza with EXTRA CHEESE

Dinner: Steamed lobster with drawn butter for dipping, corn on the cob, and a bottle of Chardonnay (I admit that I eat this when I go home to my mom's, minus the butter - doesn't bother me a bit)

Dessert: Cheesecake with fresh strawberries and a good Port

Port wine so good with desserts. Here's my list of foods if I could eat anything at all without getting a belly ache, and without gaining weight:

Breakfast: Eggs, bacon, toast with butter and a glass of milk.

Lunch: Cheese sandwhich or hamburger, and a glass of milk

Dinner: Pizza - deluxe with extra cheese, a glass of milk or Coca-cola, ice cream with hot fudge on top, and small slice of cherry cheesecake.

I have to admit, when I go to my favorite restaurant I finish off my relatively safe meal with a quarter of a Belgian waffle with whipped cream and strawberry sauce. I only go there about 2 or 3 times a year so I indulge a little.

Hrm...

Breakfast:
Ham & cheese omlette
Hashbrowns
toast with lots of butter

Lunch:
A big salad, maybe a taco salad with ground beef, sour cream, and lots of tortilla chips

"Snack"
Cheesecake
A large chocolate mocha with real milk and real coffee and whipped cream on top

(Anyone get the idea I miss real dairy?)

Dinner:
Prime rib
Loaded baked potato

Dessert:
Should I be "classy" and have a creme brulee or just go straight for the large chocolate malt? Oh, the decisions!!!

Crunch, that is. Not Morgan, although he, too, is a fine naval specimen.

Anyway, Malt-o-Meal's version of Capt. Crunch w/ Crunch Berries has been safe for me. No dairy in there, but I don't know about the HFCS. And it's cheaper than the real thing.

I want to play:

Breakfast: McDonald's egg, bacon, cheese bisquit, hash browns and a cheese danish

Lunch: Hot dog cooked on the grill until black, onion rings thinly sliced in a light batter and fried golden, a huge hot fudge sunday with a brownie

Snack: hot wings dipped in blue cheese dressing, potato skins with cheese and bacon, fried cheese sticks, bread sticks filled with mozzarella cheese.

Dinner: Nice thick filet mignon, baked potato with sour cream and real butter, salad with blue cheese dressing, cheese cake, real ice tea

snack: hot chocolate made with real milk, any dessert that is not low fat.
