Reged: 04/26/04 Posts: 1490 Loc: New York, New York Hey everyone, Well, I started posting on these boards right when I started school, I think, and now I'm finished! I emailed in my last final paper on Thursday and now am gearing up for graduation. We have a some fun events this week (booze cruise, barbeque, barristers ball), and then graduation is on Sunday. It's a weird feeling -- I'm excited and proud to be finishing but also kind of sad. It was a very trying 3 years but I learned so much about the law and about myself, and I'm just a little sad that it's all over now. I love being a student and I hope I'll go back for another degree at some point but I guess we never know! You must have worked so hard and you finished!!!!! I had that sad/relieved feeling when I graduated from college. Relief that the pressure was off...but also sad because, like you said, being a student was so natural, especially when you love to learn and you thrive in the academic environment. Maybe you'll be a professor one day? Do you have any idea what type of law you want to go into? Or what sort of second degree you are interested in? Not to get ahead of the game...but I just love hearing about what other people are doing with their lives! I completely understand how exciting and sad graduating can be at the exact same time! I know you've had a great time, but you also had a great time at your internship last summer so thats what you have to look forward to. I understand the whole missing being a student part..
