Someone told me not to use jasmine soap or essences because it can induce labor. I didn't find any credible accounts of it, but it smells good so I say slather yourself in it. And I understand. I'm only 8 weeks into this process and I'm ready to not be pregnant myself.

I only heard that Rasberry tea helps relieve the labor pains. I drank a ton before my first one and can honestly say that I'm not sure it helped a darn thing since the labor was sooooooooooo painful!
How bout eating something spicey? They say that helps labor along.
Good luck! I feel for ya. I remember those days when you just want the darn thing out!!!

The raspberry tea does not induce labor. Your not suppose to drink the raspberry in the beginning because it can cause miscarriages but in the end it streghtens your uterus for your labor. I always end up being induced at 41 weeks. I have never done anything that brought on labor. My friend swears by castor oil but I wouldn't do that with IBS. It brings on D big time and than it's suppose to start labor. However, if you body is not ready it will just be more pain. Try to hold out and not think about it. It will be here before you know it.

Aaron was 10 days late and I was ready to just die, I tried it all. A storm blew in and folks said the low pressure system could bring labor. Sex, nope. I even did castor oil!!! Nope. Nothing, nada... but when he was good and ready he came in 2 hours and only ONE PUSH with the water bag in tact so when the baby is ready, the baby will come. And you WILL live till then, though it feels like forever now.

yeah, i know they come when they come, but man, i'm so uncomfortable...but i know EVERY mommy has gone through it, and i've been there before with my daughter. she was a week early..so i'm HOPING that's at least a sign this one will be earl-ish too!!

my friend suggested castor oil..i said it would only induce poo-poo for me...haha...i'll just wait it out i guess

My friend recommended castor oil for labor induction as a natural herbs. It should be taken a single dosage and mixed it with juices. I consulted a doctor and my doctor approved of it.
