Go you!! Sounds like you're sticking with this excersizing thing... thats so great! I love that you're racing your own times, such a great idea.

Is there good scenery for this race?

Wow, that's great Shell, you have shaved so much time off from last year, you must be delighted.

My 10K is in three weeks and I am aiming to walk and jog and run different bits as I go along..bit scared!

I don't want to get yelled at for taking up running again- I have done a lot of body damage as an ex marathoner, but I love to walk long distances, now to just find events and someone to do them with me and to train with!

Thanks Becca! I'm sticking to it....it is really hard too...but I'm trying!! Yes, next year... even if I beat it by 7-8 mins I will be happy.... cuz that will decrease m per mile time by one minute

There is some nice scenery but it was not a clear day....we had a little rain....last year it was hot.... it goes into some residential neighborhoods but also crosses over the Spokane River IF I heard it right...

Wow..that is fantastic Shell....and to think you shaved 4 minutes off a mile over last year!!! You were really moving it!!! And going over 7 miles is awesome. Can't believe you're gonna do one even longer!

Good for Shane doing the Seattle 1/2 marathon for his 40th!!! That's more than most 40 year olds I know would do.

Do you have pictures to share????
