I really don't feel like making anything and I don't want any take out. Maybe I can get the munchkins to make dinner. LOL That will be the day. I have one hour and I am tired of chicken. What to make? The daily struggle.

I know what you mean last night I was not hungry at all. I didn't want chicken and I didn't want take out...it gets tough...How about spagetti and meatsauce (ground turkey) I had that on Wednesday and it was excellent.

Mmmm....that sounds good Lana! I was trying to figure out what we should do to. I don't feel like cooking, and I'm not in the mood to try to decipher some safe take out! I thought of making some homemade pizza....but I do have frozen sauce & chicken meatballs I made a few weeks ago. I may have to make that - thanks for the idea! LOL

Poor Heidi - she's the one that asked for help! LOL

Yuck, we had that last night. I haven't like spagetti since I was pregnant with Meike. It just doesn't taste good. Maybe I will do salmon. I don't know.

Thanks for you help . Actually pizza sounds good but I don't have any soy cheese. I would want the cheese. Let me think on that a bit.

Just ask for no cheese on half of it if you're ordering out. Sort of the same as spaghetti, though..

Had that yesterday for lunch. Wasn't too bad but I have a lot food here. I feel guily spending the money. Besides Tory is renting some movies tonight. Should make something we can have for a picnic in the living room. The girls love the unoffical Friday night picnic in the living room watching a movie. It can't be too messy. I bought Finding Nemo on Tuesday so we might watch that while we are eating if Tory doesn't get them a movie.

I just bought Finding Nemo on Tuesday for my godchild. Tomorrow's her birthday party. Did the girls like it? She's turning 4, so I hope I did okay....

I know you said you're tired of chicken, but how about chicken nuggets/fingers? They are a nice relaxed food (for an unofficial Friday), they seem almost like fast food, and kids love finger foods. If you have potatoes, you can do fries with them.

Okay, maybe I'm having this now! LOL

They liked it and I liked it. I was getting a little teary eyed watching it. I guess I am a bit emotional this week.

Jennifer, I forgot I bought shrimp so I am making your shrimp scampi. I have left over pasta from last night so I only have to throw it in boiling water for a minute and it is all done.

Oh geez, I have the hormones from heck this week and I was bawling, even though I've seen it 3 times. It's perfect for little guys, though! It a Disney animated feature, after all!

Mmm.. shrimp scampi sounds good. I haven't been eating dinner this last week if I go out with friends since it's been making me really gassy and uncomfy.. but I might just have to now..

Glad I could help solve your dinner crisis! Look, Lana - my second good deed this week. Maybe I'm not headed as down hill as I thought.. LOL

Has anyone tried Tilapia? Best fish I have ever eaten...Little garlic and lemon pepper, then in the broiler for a few minutes, serve with half a baked potatoe and steamed veggies (put some garlic on the steamed veggies too). I always eat a slice of french bread too. I think I just figuered out whats for dinner here, LOL

I love tilapia! I use a lot with Heather's recipe from EFI with the garlic & lemon slices wrapped in foil. Yummy!

BTW: My chicken nuggets & fries were good! LOL

Just had to let you know I did good! After she tore the wrapping off the gift, she shouted Nemo at the top of her lungs, and began to hug the DVD! LOL Aren't kids great?

The shrimp came out great. Tory asked why I don't make it more often. It was gone in a matter of minutes and everyone loved it. We didn't watch Nemo. We ended up watching What a girl Wants. It was pretty good and the girls liked it.

My mom watched the girls this morning and they watched Nemo. My mom said she loved it. She could believe how funny it was. Maybe I should buy it for my parents for Christmas .

The perfect gift. I bought George of the Jungle for my nephew's 6th birthday. My sister insists he will love it. Movies are such an easy gift to buy. They have too many toys and I never know what to buy for boys.
