But I had to have the discussion about my stomach issue(s) when they asked me why I wouldn't be eating ice cream at my little (new) office party. But in 5 years, they just figured out lately - gee, Cass hasn't been herself lately - for 2 1/2 months!! Second, at my former job, I had to explain because they all knew I went for a colonoscopy. At this job, I waited a few months before saying anything. A woman I work with has IBS-D, so that helped make things easier. It also helps that I work with/for a GREAT female boss (no offense to the guys....it's just easier talking to the same sex). I had some problems when I first started working here, so I had to say something. Things are MUCH better now. I will be at my current job a year in July and they are really cool people, they except me as I am. I can belch like a man and noone even skips a beat in conversation anymore.
