I have been wondering where you were. Congratulations on your retirement, over 45 years, Shelby, you do deserve your own time now. Glad you are able to get out and get some exercise, and love to see that BP getting lower!! good for you!

hugs to you honey, your health is still going to improve!!

I am in PR but most of my work is done at home. It is such a blessing to be home isn't it? I often get ready in stages...6:45 am shower and get dressed....8:00 blow dry the hair....10:45 curl the hair...I will have my make up done and be dressed for church by the time we leave tonight at 5:45. No appointments today so...what's the rush?

It is a wonderful life!

I've been thinking about you!! I'm relieved that you're doing so well. I just started working a full-time job (6-week contract) and my tummy's feeling the pain. I've learned my lesson! Working from home from here on out!

Hugs to you!

SOOOOOO good to see you, Girl! I just posted in the Diet Board, asking for more from you.

It's GREAT that you're doing so well. 45 1/2 years, eh? WOW, you've got my record beat. I'm impressed! And your BP is AWESOME! I'm pleased when mine is 180/90! HealthRider, eh? Well good for you!

I don't see how anyone could possibly "keep up with the posts," but at least stay around, won'tcha? You're missed!

Wow! Great to hear how much lower your blood pressure is now that you've retired. Does that mean those headaches you used to get are gone?

I have to say wow! again. YOu worked for your employer for 45.5 years - that's tremendous! You're a great person and a hard worker and I'm glad your employers recognized that. Congratulations on all the good news in your life!

It is great to be relaxed, isn't it? I love being off during the summer! I feel like I have so much more energy--because I'm not wasting my whole life working!

You are one lucky camper, that's for sure!

It is hard to leave co-workers that you become friends with. Of course you were liked and will be missed!

I left my job of six years recently and amazingly I am keeping in touch with FIVE of them by email! And I miss them all too. It comes as a bit of a surprise as the job wasn't all that great but I didn't fully realize how lucky I was to have made some good friends there! And four months later some of them are way better and more interested in my life more so than people I considered good friends!

Wow, you guys must be close if you talk every day. That's really nice.

So your IBS was mostly caused by work stress? I ahve to say that my IBS has been very good these last couple of months for me too. I am not working in the US yet.

Enjoy your new-found freedom Shelby. You've more than earned it!!!!!

It sounds like you had a wonderful working relationship. I am sorry that it had to end the way it did but look where it got you, retirement. Everything happens for a reason. You were tired and didn't even realize it.

Enjoy yourself because you deserve it.
