We are off to church and then to our neighbors house for Easter dinner. Of all things they asked me to bring Asian food! So I am taking pancit (philippino food) and "bun" vietnamese noodle salad.

It will be a strange Easter dinner to say the least but I like it!

It will be our first Sunday in our new church building. Our church started out in a skating rink and has grown to 600 or so in a YMCA. Now we have our own buidling and it is so "homey", we had a praise service there last night jsut to remember where we've come from adn thank God for the new place.

After church we're having a potluck with our home/small group in the afternoon and have invited some neighbors, I hope they'll come. Busy day! My FAVORITE day!

I'm "taking a break"....Spring Break that is! I'll be driving my boys north 4 hours to stay with my sister and her family for a week!!! We'll attend the contata at their church Sunday night, then it's all out fun for five days!!! You won't see me around next week, but I'll fill you in when I get back!

I haven't seen my sis this much in over 19 years! I still can't believe this is happening!

Church is first!!

Then,my mom is making ham, scalloped potato, buttered veggies and rolls. So, I will probably stop by after they have eaten.

Yum...an Asian Easter dinner sounds wonderful!!!

My Mom's having an Easter bash--she's in an Italian mood (actually, lasagna and sides are easy large group dishes! I'm bringing stuffed mushrooms and I'll probably eat some tofu & spaghetti squash or spaghetti squash and soy "meatballs" with a little baby spinach or something folded in!)

Basically a pretty normal holiday--it's funny, but we generally rent movies or end up collectively seeing a show and unexpectedly end up chatting the night away.

I'll probably spend some time with my dad at his convenience, of course. I cannot go to his mother's celebration as the smell of the foods make me really nauseated, so I'll pop in for coffee on Monday--I have this problem with intense odours in a small contained area, I regret.

It's Easter and we're all old now, but it's actually more fun.

Kate.

Getting my bike from my maternal parent, going to the self car wash to clean off the 5 years of dust off of it, and hopefully doing some Zen and the art of bicycle maintenance.

Possible bringing the dog to see my brother and his kid for cutsie easter pics too (picture ferocious husky in a bright blue bow and bunny ears).

Tommy and I painted our dining room yesterday and last night. It's a pistachio colour and is awesome!! Tonight is the living room!!! It will be a turmeric colour!

For novice painters, we're kicking butt!!!

Dinner at Tommy's parent's place Sunday evening.

..skipping mom's...I don't feel like putting on the "act" today. Or feeling so akward with the food selection/avoidance. So, I will make some GF applesauce bread, watch some TV, take a walk out in the rain... And, um, still have to do the taxes! I just do the EZ form, since I don't have anything....so it shouldn't take too long.

Went to BF church for Sunrise service,(which I LOVE) 6 am, but it 's an hour away. So, we left at 5, which means I got up at 3:30 for my bowels, wich ended up not moving till 8:15 anyway. We went to breakfast after that, then back to his appartment to sit & rest, then off to my church for 10 a.m. service. Then on to my parent's place to chill & catch up with them, then to his mom's place for food & more chill time. Went for a walk about 8 pm. He dropped me off at home & I passed out! Whheeww!!
It's all worth it! Praise the Lord Jesus is risen!

hello everyone!

I haven't been on the site since last thursday morning because i've been away for easter.

I had a fabulous time in virginia visiting with my mom, dad, brother, sister, aunt, uncle and three cousins. It was a fabulous time and the weather was amazing. I'm back in boston now trying to catch up on the boards. Its muuuuch colder here and I miss my family already.

I hope everyone had a fabulous easter!
