Let me whine please. I have a 2 year old who is teething and a newborn who is fussy. They are both crying a lot and are demanding. I love them dearly. I have postpartum depression and obsessive compulsive disorder and so my emotional plate is pretty full.
I am "working" at home 18 hours a day 7 days a week. I'm not getting much sleep and it's really starting to wear me down. Between the lack of sleep and the depression I feel subhuman. I have practically NO time to myself ... with that said at least I can type for a couple minutes here and there.
For Christmas, I just want sleep.
Thanks for listening to the vent. The baby's crying I've got to go.

Awww - I feel for you...I haven't been there *yet* but I truly feel for you.

Is there anyway your hubby can send you away for a weekend to get a manicure and a massage or something? It's obviously you need a break.

I hope you are able to get some time to yourself and rejunvenate.

Take care of yourself.

Time to call a babysitter and get some "me" time! Even if its just a couple hours. I don't have any kids but I still feel for you!

I second Michelle!! Go out to lunch with a couple of friends.

Once upon a time I had a newborn, 18 month old and a three year old and I thought I was going crazy. Now my newborn is turning six on the 15th and it is soooooo much easier.

This time will pass and you will survive and be a much more patient mom.

Han - Hope you're feeling better soon! I don't have babies yet - still working on the wedding part! LOL - so don't have any advice, but just know you can vent anytime.

How's the colic doing anyway? Did you find anything that worked yet? Or, is that why she's still fussy?

Take care...hopefully you can take others advice and get some 'me' time in!

Well Han, I know it seems like alot and it is(not to make things worse) I second and third what girls say, get a sitter, even if it's to sleep and lounge around for the day.
Hubby gots to interact here, take the kids out for a while, if it's too cold, indoor Mc donalds playground, etc. Treat yourself to a long hot bath and soothing music, light some candles. It took my husband finally to understand after the second child about the women alone time and how wonderful I felt after the time alone, it really made a difference. We been married 18yrs. It takes both. Get some rest when you can and fell better soon. Take care and God Bless
