It was supposed to be a cute hairdresser story. I thought you'd think it was funny that my hairdresser "dismissed" me! I guess it's hard to convey humor in an email.
And no, Mags, I wasn't mean to her! (I seem to remember someone--- was it you?---- that threw a pan when they had PMS.) That's the only reason I was joking about PMS, because I can totally relate to that time-of-the-month feeling!
Let's drop the hairdresser subject and talk about something else. I'm sorry I brought it up.

It is tough sometimes for people to interperat what other people are saying in a post, and what the feelings are behind it. The Instant Graemlins help sometimes but not always. Hopefully everyone can see both sides of every situation/email/post and continue on with life. When emails/posts develop feelings, then hopefully there will be no more miscommunications - ah, a nice dream.

I am sorry BL, I just have trouble reading posts about people crying. It was obvious this girl was at her wits end with you and didn't know what else to do. I don't think that's funny.
I feel for this girl..I know what it's like to have a customer you can't please, it feels awful...and then for you to say it's her PMS. How would you like it if someone never validated your feelings except with a must be PMS. It doesn't seem to really fix the problem does it!
Sorry - I know this is not a debate board and I am not posting anymore to this one. *I also apologize Heather* I just feel very strongely about this poor girl.
Again, we have to agree to disagree because I don't think you were very fair to this young lady. And I'm not talking about just this visit, but obviously there was two other visits where stuff happened that you aren't telling us.

I used to really enjoy being a part of this board. But, I'm sorry to say it is not something I look forward to anymore, and maybe that's my fault. I don't know what is happening here, but it makes me sad that all of a sudden people I considered my friends are now jumping all over me.
Why is everyone trying to make something more out of this? It was supposed to be a funny story about my shortcomings, not hers, and how this has turned into me having to defend myself, I don't know. If a friend came to you and told you this story, I don't think you'd be asking her for more information. You'd just trust her that that is what happened. I shouldn't have to be defending myself, over and over again. This has gotten petty.
I needed this board for support,and that includes a little laughter sometimes. I don't mind a difference in opinion. But enough is enough. My stomach is now in knots. It's just not worth it anymore.
