The thought of going to #1 a 9-5 job on Monday for the first time in over a year, and #2 going to a shrink on TUESDAY for the first time since childhood has thrown me into panic mode. We have a guest and his dog still here from last night too-- they're both still snoring in the next room. Not what I needed today!

I need pictures of a calm, blue ocean or something!!

I'm running out of meds too (will be out by Friday), and I'm going to have to beg the shrink for something for my pain+anxiety. Being under the thumb of the whims of another new doctor is not a good way to start a week. STRESS!

I'm totally shaking right now. The asthma inhaler puffs I just took aren't helping either.

Can somebody send me a picture of something funny/calming? Sorry I'm such a mess right now.

awwww nelly!

cheer up! sorry I don't have any cool pics to share with you, but I know you're going to be fine. Anxiety over new things is expected!!

Just rememeber, the job is only six weeks long, which is manageable.. in return you'll have money to spend on the thailand trip!

Sorry to hear you're so anxious about the new job. I would be too! But it sounds like you've been doing much better with your IBS lately, and the shrink should give you something to help you get through this. I'm sending good thoughts your way. Vent as much as you need to today so you can avoid any more panic attacks.

I found this pic of "albatross on the sea" - nice and calming, I think!

It will be okay. Take a deep breath and remember that you can do it. They hired you for a reason. You'll do great!

Man, do I wish I could go swim with that dolphin. I miss Scuba Diving. The ultimate hydrotherapy.

Hi Nelly,

Found a few pics real quick that always make me laugh.

My grandaughter picking her nose, Annie snickering, Me working out (ha ha) and my grandaughter falling in her dog's feeding bowl.

I hope it helps you forget your panic for a couple of minutes anyway.

I always found when I was panicky I would color...yes, color in a coloring book like a little kid. It really did help me get my mind off of stuff.

Good luck and hope you had a couple of laughs.

It sounds all very stressful! Hopefully the job will be a breeze and the bathroom will be close by! And lets hope the shrink is cool and is "drug" friendly! I couldn't make it through some days without my Xanax!

Ok, funny picture!

My mom told me not to eat the kitties cat nip but I didn't listen!
