Hello Everyone, I just bought the loose peppermint tea and I'm having trouble brewing it in those metal mesh tea bags. The leaves escape in my tea through the mesh. Any ideas? Am I just tea illiterate or can I brew this tea without large pieces of tea floating in my cup?

Well, I doubt you are illiterate!!
I'm not sure I'm familair with the metal mesh tea bags. It just sounds like the holes are too big and the tea is escaping. Do you have small sieve? You can pour it through there after it's done brewing and hopefully it will catch the leaves. Or you can buy a metal tea ball.
Some of the smaller leaves will probably get through anyway. Mine does, and I just drink them.

Hi, I use a coffee filter (tip from this site) and then tie it with a twisttie. and bend one end over my cup add water and steep for minute or 2. It works great! Coffee filters are something like 200 to a package for just a dollar or two. paintlady
