Nasty Drive to NH

Well, Tina and I just had one of the worst drives that we've ever experienced. I am up in NH on business and decided to bring Tina with me. We'll be here until Friday morning and then we are heading to Boston.

The drive started out ok. I drove for about two hours and then Tina decided to take over. She received the short end of the stick. When she drove the visibility was 0 (nasty snow showers combined with water coming off of tractor trailers and agressive drivers) and we were really worried. Thanks be to God almighty we made it to our destination A-OK.

Just thought I would share our adventure with the IBS gang. Tina seems ok now that she went for a swim and sat in the whirlpool...

WOW! I'm sorry you had such a lousy drive!!! Esp for Tina's sake! I'm glad you're both safe and sound now...thank G-d!!! And that you have what sounds like a wonderful hotel to enjoy for the next few days.

Thanks for sharing with us!!!!!!

Oh no! Sounds rough!! I'm glad you've made it ok and are unwinding at the moment! I hope at least they put you up at a nice place. NH is such a fun place to visit, and so pretty in [almost] any weather!

Have a great stay and fingers crossed that you'll be able to make it back in one piece! We actually had real snow here this morning-- I hope this nasty trend for April will not continue!

I've driven in terrible weather before but that was worse than a snow storm. Poor Tommy has never heard me swear much but boy was I cursing. LOL! I was just so freaked out, but I think I was cursing at all the people that were cutting me off and tailgaiting. I'm used to that (I live in NYC after all..) but when there's zero visibility, they're just asking for an accident!

A short swim and sit in the sauna did my wonders. I'm so glad I brought my swimsuit! The hotel has free drinks from 5-7 so I think there's a glass of wine with my name on it!

You're right around the corner from me!! I live in Manchester - the next town over from Bedford! Not a very tourist-y area, but nice enough. Are you doing any sight-seeing while you're here?
