LOL! Just got back from visiting Melissa in Pennsylvania, and I had a great road trip. With all the detours, it's taken me from 10:30 in the morning to 5:45 at night to make it home, but I'm back! My back is screaming, so I've gotta lie down.

Fibro treatment's still going well. The IV I received really helped my back yesterday, so I'm going to keep with those.

Cyas!

Glad to hear it went well, & that you're back safe & sound. You sure are brave going all that way for treatment. I admire you for it.
Hope your back feels better!

Hey Nelly! Glad to hear the new "cocktail" for the fibro seems to be helping! I hope your back is better after your nap!

Fingers crossed that the fibro treatment will have some good, long-term results!

I went out Monday night with Melissa, her BF and one of their friends visiting from Turkey. I went really off the wagon for this one (outmeal cookie with choc chips!! ), but it was worth it because the dinner was great and the company even better.

The Turkish friend mentioned she'd be taking the train to DC the next day, so she hopped a ride with me instead. And what a ride it was! Her Istambul travel agent had booked her a hovel in Cracktown, VA, and I couldn't let her stay there and sleep AND get a good sleep at night myself. As Mel and I were laughing about it at the time, it looked straight out of CSI:DC, like some pusher was going to kick down the door yelling for his money, b**ch. Yeah, time to go.

So we booked it thru DC at rush hour, which is kinda like one of those movie chases where the lead car being chased hits apple carts, food vendors, and people jump out of the way with their ties flying and suitcases flying open throwing papers in the air. JUST like that. We saw the Washingotn Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Treasury building (where the money is printed), various strip clubs, the World Bank (where Turkish visitor person had a meeting the next day), Georgetown and the National Cathedral. Nelly's Tour of DC, abbreviated.

I think my BF was a little surprised that I called him and wanted him to Mapquest the directions from CSI:DC no-tell motel Rosslyn to some random house in Bethesda, but he was accomodating. It's hard living with me, and he's learned to adapt quickly.

We finaly found what we were looking for, the house of a friend of the family, who took her in and by the way wanted to adopt me, no joke. He declared me an angel and him my surrogate family in Bethesda (should I ever need one), and gave me such a handshake that I might never forget! I took off for home from there and made it, many hours later than expected.

Karma is intact: Today, I was short $4.55 paying for my medications, and the pharmacist at CVS paid it out of her petty cash. I could have kissed her.

Sorry, we were preoccupied! I come up every 2 weeks, usually on Monday, but perhaps next time on a Wednesday as I have to synch up my medications with the time I'll be away. Can't be trying to renew a 'scrip while I'm in Thailand!

Did you have a good spring break?

Thanks Kiwii! I have to wonder sometimes if it's really worth it, but I'm just going to keep going til the money runs out! This doctor has already found the candida plus c. Pneumonia that the others missed, so he's already head and shoulders above the others as far as I'm concerned!

I love your new profile pic!

How are you feeling in general lately? Do you have fatigue and aches?

I think I am feeling a little better as the weather gets warmer. My hubby thinks the weather effects the severity of my fibro. I don't know about that but everyone feels better when it is warm and sunny outside.

Glad to hear your treatments are going well.

Great tale!

I am a 100% believer in Karma. Nice to see a prime example of it!
