Hi everyone. Well, I took my first trip post gallbladder surgery and months of trying to get stable. I've been feeling great recently. And my BF and I have been trying to choose grad schools...so we went to Boston! I got accepted at Emerson for theatre education, so we checked it out. The program was ok...but Boston was FABULOUS!!! My belly was PERFECT! I couldn't believe it! It really made me feel so empowered and in control of myself--thank you hypnosis and my lexapro! Anyway, one IBS story... we went to a restaurant near Harvard and I asked what soup they had. They said it would look strange but taste great...it was pureed veggie soup! I couldn't believe my luck! It came with wonderful crusty french bread....it was like this place was made for us! It was quite wonderful!
We took a trolly tour with a fabulous guide, went to the Sam Adams Brewery (for the BF...people looked at me like I was NUTS when I didn't take all of the free drinks!), went to Quincy market and shopped, ate wonderful halibut, and had a blast. We even got a free upgrade in the hotel to a suite! Wee! So that was my weekend. I could not believe I made it through without any belly symptoms. Way to go belly! Hope all is well with everyone!!!!!

Wow! What an awesome weekend! It's so good to hear that you were able to travel and not have any IBS troubles. That veggie soup and French bread sound so yummy. Congrats on such a great trip AND your acceptance into Emerson. Whooooo!
