ive been reading these posts and you all seem like such great people!! i need guy advice.. i'd love to hear what you all think...
im 24 years old and i lost touch with this boy when i was 15...we liked eachother alot and we were best of friends but we also fought alot, childish stuff of course, being that age  i see him every now and then and all he does is stare at me, he wont say a word, and i just wonder what hes thinking sometimes lol.. i want to walk up and talk to him but i get nervous thinking about it.. i dont know what he would think..or if he'd talk back..  i think about him alot.. hes my cousins best friend and its hard when i see him knowing im scared to talk to him.. should i just walk up and say hi and see what happens?? i know this sounds kind of junior high lol..haha

One of the hardest things to do is startup a conversation with someone who is shy, or that we've known previously but haven't seen in a while and don't really know if we should start talking again...
Try going over to him, show some interest, say hi, smile, keep an easy convo, and it doesn't have to be an hour long chat or anything. He may see this and feel more comfortable to approach you.

Yes. Just walk up to him and say "HI!" What can it hurt? He's probably very shy and needs a gentle nudge. You've got a killer smile, just flash it at him, and watch him melt.

thanks bevvy for the compliment!! and thanks everyone for the advice, i will definitely try and talk to him when i see him again.. about a year ago, i gave my cousin my phone number to give to him..and he tried calling 3 times and all 3 times i missed his call cause i was out shopping and couldnt find my phone in my messy purse! so he never tried after that and my cousin said he was kinda upset..he felt i was dodging him, so i told my cousin to explain what happened, who knows if he did or not lol.. so besides having an awkward past with him..that made it worse

just an update, my sister talks to the guy i was telling u all about..but i didnt know til now she said he has a good job , he travels alot..his father is really sick though  and hes just really really shy..she told me i should really try talking to him next time i see him, and he might be at a party im going to in april so i think i might give it a try!
