and just plain blissful. We stayed in four star hotels, ate at a five star french cuisine restaurant...yes, i had a bit of an attack after, but it was SOO worth it LOL!We rode the gondola up the mountain, and i had a spa afternoon after all. But to me the most important part was that Dh and I had three days of uninterrupted one on one time together for the first time since our honeymoon five years ago!

And also, it felt really good dining at this fancy place when everyone else around us was 20+ years older than us. Maybe we don't have a house, maybe I don't have that full time job security yet, but we can still afford to do these things, and we still have a daughter we love. So what if it all doesn't happen right away. We're doing JUST FINE for our age. And, thirty isn't old to me now, after people shook their heads in disbelief when I told them I was 30. Ok, yeah, I guess I do look young for 30. Big smile.

My perspective is totally changed, and this is exactly what I needed.

I'm so glad you and hubby had such a great time. I like how you said it put things into perspective for you. You ahve so many wonderful people and things in your life right now, I think you're exactly where you should be! I'll be thirty this year too, and I have the same concerns. Thanks for reminding me that there's no rush and to enjoy what I DO have!

We can be old ladies together, LOL!

and I've realized that if there are a FEW years in between my kids, I'll love them both, and so will DH, and Kayleigh will be a good big sister eventually. it doens't all have to happen this year. If there are 6 years between them, it's not a problem with me. ir ealized today that it's a problem for my mother. Oh well, not mine. At least we'll try for 2!

It was fantastic.

Our first night we stayed at the rundlestone lodge, not as fancy of a hotel but we had it's fanciest room.
We had the premiere room, it was a loft. The bedroom overlooked the living/fireplace/jacuzzi room.

I do have further pics, but will share later. A lot of the mountains. I've only got a million of them already, don't know why I always need to add on,LOL!
