I'll be 25 in August and I'm dreading it. I was supposed to be married with at least one kid by this time. haha.. I can't even get a date, nevermind a fiance. LOL you would think with all our psych background, and you know how into psych I ambut really...you'd think we'd know how to SOLVE our own problems, and compulsions and obsessions, eh?? Why can't we? I do every survey i can get my hands on and it is a damn good thing I can't get a hold of the actually psych administered assessments, because it'd be ugly... I often wonder if that's why we didn't get into ed psych.(well, my original and still standing plan is to be a child psychologist)in the first place... to solve our own problems from our own mentality/childhood!!! I dunno! thats a good question.. I'm not sure that thats why I went into educational psychology though.. because I was a very lucky child. I grew up in a cookie cutter middle/high socioeconomic status household, two parents still married, without abuse, or fighting, mental health problems or learning disabilities. So I dunno if your theory works for me... but I bet it does apply to many people!
