For the Canuks in the crowd, J was driving to TO this morning. His car stalled at Hwy 6 and 401 at Guelph. He made it to the side of the road and got hit by a snowplow! He's at the impound now waiting to hear from the Insurance. Anyway, when he called at 8:30 this morning I picked up the phone and said "Are you okay?" He said "How did you find out already?" I told him I just knew. I knew something was going to happen this morning. Then I told him I don't care about the car - as long as he's OK. Now we have to get him home.
KW, Guelph, Toronto, Cambridge are getting slammed with this huge snow/freezing rain storm and most of those cities are shut down. Why DH throught he could make it to Toronto this morning is beyond me.
Oh well!
Counting my blessings!

Thank goodness he is okay!!

We're getting an icy mess down here in Illinois, too. So glad I don't have a long commute.

Everyone stay safe!!

I hope the car si salvageable and he gets home soon, if not he's at least somewhere warm and comfortable.

So glad he's okay. Like you really needed a little stress in your life right now! Accidents are so stressful. Once you realize you are okay...you are left to clean up the mess of insurance, getting another vehicle (or getting yours fixed), and being without a car. What a hassle.

Thank goodness he is fine. What a scare!

Oh My! I am glad he's ok! My hubby is leaving tonight for an ice fishing trip up north and I am nervous because the weather is suppose to be bad up that way and last year coming home he totalled the back end of his truck and was stuck in Bay City for over 6 hours!! I really hate snowy weather and driving!!
