I liken it to someone poking a sunburn repeatedly. When the tattoo's done, the pain stops too. And the upper arms and calves usually have enough padding on them that you hardly feel a thing. Besides... we women are tough. LOL! I've seen guys pass out getting spots tattooed that I sat through with no problem, and I really don't have a high pain tolerance at all. Not trying to convince you or anything - just reassuring if you ever decide to go for it.
