Has anyone ever had stringy stuff in their poop?
It's never happened to me before but I'm a little freaked out.gross....
I don't feel stomach sick at all. my BMs have been fine, no pain, not one other symptom. My IBS has been better for months! If an=ything I get a little C.
but I've been sick and have had lots of swallowed mucus. Could it be that?
Sorry, I know this is gross, but, need to know if it's IBS mucus, or if it's just sick sinuses mucus or what the heck it is.

Saee, I called the health link and she said it's very unlikely it's a parasite...maybe it's yeast, too. I mean, you think I'd have an inkling if it was something unsanitary, but I cook the heck out of my food and am constantly washing my hands. I have no pets and live up north. Soo.... could just be junk I'm coughing up and swallowing. (sorry, it's yucky.)

And quite often it's orange coloured "stringy" poop. I can't take those things!
I used Benefiber, but Citrucel did the same kind of thing. Most bizarre. Maybe it's a thing about those "gum" fibers.
