Well, its good they haven't found anything serious but I know how frustrating it is to not have any answers. Don't give up! You know your body, if things aren't right and this obgyn can't give you answers, go to another one! I had several dr's just tell me I was depressed thats why I was in so much pain before I found a the dr who diagnosed the RA and fibro!

because I do hate that I've had to leave my classroom and go back to subbing, which is half the pay, no glory and no permanence... and that the weather here has been grey and blah since October-hardly any snow at all. it's been so warm, but just grey and dull out for so long, and you just expect spring to come, then. It's not expected for another two months yet!
Well, I will just try and get more sun, and get in to see my OBGYN(who I have to be referred to again, jeepers)

I'm glad all your tests came back normal, but sorry you didn't get an answer. However, I suggest you ask your doctor to send you copies of your bloodwork results. The book I relied on when I was diagnosed with thyroid problems says:
Quote:
If your doctor tells you that your screening test was normal but you still have symptoms consistent with hypothyroidism, ask the doctor for the exact number of your TSH. It it's above 2.5, ask your doctor to consider giving you a trial of treatment with thyroid hormone replacement.
In other words, if the test says you're normal but in the underactive half of normal and you still feel bad, you may benefit from treatment for hypothyroidism.
For a similar point of view, check out this post from a former Diet Board regular.
HTH.

I asked the nurse if it was high normal at all, and she said, Nope, right in the middle.so, we can rule it out. Well, for now anyhow.

Shannon,
Well, I'm glad there's nothing serious wrong, but I'm sorry that you don't have answers! Good luck with the obgyn!

Hey, Shannon! Yay to no diseases. But a big boo to not getting any answers. Have you been able to reach your OBGYN? Keep us updated, please.

Do you have allergies? Food allergies?
If not...maybe you have food intolerances?
Another thing: At my 1st uro appointment with the GREAT doc who did my surgery, he noticed I had some splotches and he asked me if I get them often. I said yes. He Dx me with an autoimmnue disorder and gave me meds for it! I have ALWAYS said I have an autoiimune disorder but the docs always said my blood came back normal so I was fine.
If you're not convinced that things are normal...I wouldn't just stop with bloodwork. Maybe it's NOT your thyroid or diabetes...maybe it's something else. Maybe it isn't anything. But trust yourself on this one...I sure do
