ok..
so my due date is 6-6-06...as i'm sure i've shared. Mike's birthday is 6-6-76 (haha...go figure) so if baby is born (which i hope not, becuase a 6-6-06 bay is kinda scary...but if he is born on that day we are making him a mike jr..
but if it's any other day we have Jeramiah Paul Issaiah Paul thats all we have right now, i like Jeramiah. My daughter votes for batman, which cracks me up, becuase she always referes him as "batman is..."
what names do you like? please don't vote for batman though!

Hi Lyndsey!
Oooh, 6-6-6, how scary! Hee hee, I am sure it is just a coincidence. s'kinda funny, though. I think I like Jeramiah the best out of those two names. Sometimes I think about names I would like for a baby, and oh my god, there are so many!! The names of our bank customers come up on the screen sometimes I think, "Ooh, I like that name". My most recent favourite is "Clayton" for a boy's name.
Hey, how is the pregnancy going anyway? I know you were feeling pretty crappy for a while, how are you doing now? Be sure to post us some more belly pictures soon if your belly starts to really 'pop'.
Let us know!
Cheers, --Steph

would you have nicknames for either? i find jeremiah easier to say, and the rhythm with the middle name is really nice, and the way it starts and ends on a stressed syllable. from a dorky poetry point of view, it's very nice.
ever since i was little i'd have lists of baby names. when i was ten i wanted a girl named 'bethany,' which now feels too prissy. then i went through a 'maya' phase. (too hippie.) now it's more traditional/british - emily, elinor, sofia. i really like tamsin, too, but sometimes find it hard to say. i've always been less creative with boys' names, always old-testament. jonathan's the only steady one there.
see, this is where being a neurotic word-dork is almost crippling - there's so much to be considered - the meaning, origin, letters, rhythm, vowel sounds, the texture of how it feels in your mouth. i almost wish i didn't care about each tiny thing so much!

I like Jeramiah Paul out of the two. When I named my kids I would say all three names together to make sure they had a nice flow. The flow of a name is very important. I used family names for all three of my kids but I tried to think what the names would sound like as adults too. Sometimes names that are really cute for kids don't go with adults. I think both of the names you have chosen would be good for a child and an adult.

I like both those names, though to be honest they both look spelled wrong to me. I guess I'm a traditionalist with spelling and would go with Jeremiah or Isiah. When thinking about nicknames I think Jeremiah might get shortened to Jerry, which isn't my favorite. I don't know what you could shorten Isiah to. Of course you could always name him either and nickname him Batman.

I like Felix and Rufus.
But I have to say, Batman is an awesome name! Think how much playground cred he'll have! lol. Or you could call him Chuck Norris Hasselhoff <lastname>. Tell your daughter she's a rock star from me.
