Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

Ahhh, we have shrubbery and a sidewalk. It really looks like a house now! The light fixtures, fans, closet shelving, shower doors, and towel bars are in. I'm so excited. Only 3 more weeks until we move in.

I thought you ladies would get a kick out of this. I have been taking photos of the house at each stage it has gone through. Most of the subcontractors are Hispanic and don't speak much English. When I'm excited about what they're doing (which is all the time), I drive by and give them a thumbs-up sign. They just smile!

Yesterday, when I drove up, they were planting the shrubbery in the front yard. I was adjusting my camera when I heard one of them say to the others, "Cheese!" They all turned around, smiled and gave me a thumbs up for the picture. And can you believe the battery was dead on my camera?

Needless, to say, I just had to come home and get new batteries. But when I went back, they were finished planting and had moved on to another house down the street---so I didn't get the priceless picture for my photo album.

I think they probably say to each other every day, "There's that crazy woman again---with her camera!"

I'd love to post pictures, but I don't know how. If anyone wants to post them for me, I'll pass them along.
