Both of my kids will be at youth retreats this weekend...how two retreats were scheduled for the same weekend, I don't know. I think God knows I needed time to myself!

You ALL know how much I love my kids...I miss them when they go back to school after having them home all summer and then Christmas break. I must admit I am excited about this weekend!

My husband and I will be at a church fellowship Friday night. He has to work Saturday and I told him that I was NOT going to stay home alone and clean house. I have no idea where I am going to go but I will be having loads of fun! Then it is dinner and a movie Saturday evening with my hunk of a hubby!

I kind of feel guilty for being so excited but this NEVER happens!

Rachel,
Have a blast!! God does give us time alone with our hubbies as a gift sometimes! Isn't He creative?? I know you will enjoy your time alone playing and time with your hunk of a hubby that evening! We'll look forward to hearing about what you came up with to entertain yourself on Saturday!

Why, go shopping of course! You've been into knitting, go to the yarn store and just browse around for a while! Go to a fancy department store and have them do your make-up!! Most stores will do it for free trying to get you to buy there stuff! You just got a pedicure but how about a manicure to go with it?! Go buy a sexy pair of underwear for your date! Whatever you decide to do, enjoy your day!

After your dinner and movie, consider going to the movie store and rent a good movie. Then stay up, munch on junk food (IBS safe, of course!!!).

And for the daytime - of course - SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!

How about a romantic walk in the evening hand in hand???

I may just go to Blockbuster and get a bunch of chick-flicks and knit my head off!

Thank you all for the ideas...I may do each and every one!
