ibs and stomach bug proclamation

By the power vested in me (by myself), I hereby declare all ibs sufferers exempt for life from stomach viruses!!! Effective immediately. Haven't we suffered enough?
Dan (in the middle of medium-level panic over chills, and queasyness) I'm really afraid this is it - which for me is a huge fear.
I'm trying not to give much voice to the panic even typing here. I've done it enough times, and I can't tell if it takes the edge off, or helps me really get into panicking...

Ughhhhhhhhh I feel for ya! I get paniced when I have a stomach bug too. I make myself worse worrying when/if I'm gonna throw up. It's just awful. Hope you start feeling better real soon! Just keep in mind, it usually only lasts 24hrs!

feel a LITTLE better. Maybe its just an IBS attack once again - I ate 5 bites of dinner, and not much lunch. I'm so empty but I'm scared to eat! I think I probably won't eat a thing til morning. Ugh! I hate this!

Heheee. I am the girl who cried virus. I spent all day today imagining a stomach virus coming on. One of my trainees had food poisoning today. He rocked in first thing and said "Sorry I'm late, I've just been throwing up"
Cue entire day of OMG THIS IS IT! I'M GOING TO BE ILL FOR SURE! HELP! I WANNA GO HOME!
I've made a rule for myself, for the good of my sick leave: I am not allowed to go home unless I actually puke. Doesn't stop me panicking though. :'
