I am flying high right now because ALL of my applications are out already. I'm done and now I can sit back and relax and wait to hear something! Wish me luck...I really hope I get in somewhere. I'm looking at Boston U, Emerson, Fontbonne (In St. Louis), Goldsmiths (in London) and University of Warwick in Coventry, England....I'll let you all know as soon as I hear anything!:)
YAY!

Very good - I only have one application out so far to the University of British Columbia. The others are due at the end of the month, so I'm not likely to put them in until then; I want to take my time putting the final touches on my PhD dissertation proposal. I had a meeting with the PhD supervisor here in Edinburgh to pitch the idea and he liked it, so I'm hopeful that this is a safe application.

What are you applying for? For the English universities, are you applying for a Taught or Research degree? It's good that you're so prepared - the US deadlines are so crazily early!!

I'm applying for theatre education... mostly children's theatre in all forms...directing and education based. I am applying for the taught in England...and really would LOVE to go there. I studied in London for 4 months and fell in love with the city...so we'll see!

Just out of curiosity- why didn't you apply to University of Texas- Austin or Arizona State? Those are the two top programs in drama and theatre for youth as far as I know.

And congrats on getting your applications in!

Hi Jaime... ummm... I'm working on my third year of my PhD in theatre and I teach acting for non-majors at UT, so I guess there are at least three of us.
