You poor thing! You sure have a lot to deal with. I'm sorry you're going to have to go through surgery, but at least you now know what you're dealing with. I'm it sounds like you have a wonderful, caring doctor.

I'm not familiar with #1 or #2. Can you tell us more about those?

Sending you lots of gentle hugs that hopefully will brighten your day! (((((Soft hugs))))

BIG HUGS RUCHIE!! You are taking this in stride with a lot of grace. I'm so glad you have a doctor who's looking for this kind of stuff!! My fibro doc appointment is on the 31st, and I hope they find something to treat, because I'm suffering right now!

No fear!!

I think these diagnoses are a step in the right direction. Maybe the treatmenst will take away some of your pain. I really hope so.

Linz is right, it's good to know what is wrong, now you can treat them all properly. Delighted that you found a good doctor too, it makes all the difference.

Not much good at fun at the moment, although I love a good book to lose myself in, it always puts me in good form.

I can't really thinkg straight.

I was up till 2:30 w/ the pain...couldn't lie down! I cried most of the night

Thanks for all the support you all give *hugs*

I'm gonna try and hope I get this right...(sorry if it makes no sense)

I don't HAVE to have the surgery. What surgery does:

-Confirms the diagnosis.

-Can put you into remission (but the surgery can cause MAJOR complications including MAJOR PAIN...worse than before the surgery...for up to 6 months! )

-Some people do ok w/ just diet alone...they are few and far between

-If you DO have surgery and it puts you into remission...it is NOT permanent! one woman on the IC site has had the surgery at least 35 times!

My question for you: If you could do surgery for IBS to make the pain go away (and IBS was actually doing damage to your intenstines) would you do it or would you try to just do it with diet alone and see what happens??

I can give more info. soon I hope. I'm just so groggy...so worn out from all the pain

I know it's going to be ok. I am well prepared for this.

I have done soo much research on celiac which I am very thankful as this is "celiac" of the bladder. Foods cause inflimation of the bladder. So if I eat the wrong foods...I am actually doing damage to my bladder (no cheating allowed!!) But it's not gluten...it's a whole list of foods!!!

I am on an elimination diet for 2 weeks. Then I add in one new food at a time. I eat a bunch of it that day. If it hurts or causes urinary frequency...it's gone for LIFE.

This is serious stuff.

PFD, pelvic floor dysfunction, is not something I understand as of yet. I'll tell you more when I do.

Vulvodynia is also not something I get. I know it causes painful intercourse and has ANOTHER list of foods to avoid. Forever.

Sorry if this isn't comprehensible?? Will edit later if neccesary.

*hugs* I love you all...

Ruch
