I've shared some with you all about my son Luke - we have an IEP meeting at 8:30 am tomorrow. Any of you involved wiht education at all know what an ordeal that can be! I think they are going to suggest a different placement for him, at least for a few days a week/part time, and I'm not sure how I'll respond to that, but I'm trying to keep an open mind. Thanks for any prayers and I'll let you know what happens!

Take care,

Ecmmbm, you don't know me, but I'm a graduate education student and I can imagine that you're going through quite an ordeal with your son's placement. I will definitely keep your family in my prayers! I hope things work out for the best. -Kristen

We've been there and done that with my 7 year old. If I didn't push for an IEP team my son would have fallen through the cracks. He is behind in reading and after testing it showed he has a LD with his long term memory. With additional help in school he has already shown improvement!!
Good luck with your meeting.
