I saw this too - I'm pretty sure it's only an inoculation against specific bacteria that cause D though - not a general solution to all D-related problems.
Would be nice though...

Hillarious!! I went to a Shaggy concert in Antigua and got "Shaggy's revenge" coming back through Puerto Rico. I'm convinced it was from something my travelling companion and I both ate in the airport cafeteria coming back (raw veg that wasn't washed right!!). 
I'd have loved to have a vaccine before then, tho as I remember the D wasn't at all as painful as when I have my normal attacks. We still joke about Shaggy's revenge...
