RAM installation question

OK, I'm hoping someone out there has more of a grasp of computers than I have. I just installed an additional 512MB of RAM into my laptop, but am getting the following from the task manager:
The question I have is that 468 PF use + 525 free doesn't add up to 1047 total. Am I just doing the calculation wrong? I just want to make sure that it's installed correctly.

The 468 PF or Paging File has nothing to do with RAM and is virutal memory stored on the hard drive.
