Amy was a poster on these boards for a long time, and many of you have become close to her and still care about her. Well, she emailed me to let me know that her dad had a big heart attack last night. He's doped up on Morphine and is stable for now in the hospital in the country town where they live.
Amy is really upset and worried. She didn't ask me to post this, but I thought some of you would want to know...and her dad could use all the prayers he can get. And Amy too...she is devastated, needless to say.
Thanks

Poor Amy Tell her I'm thinking of her (if you talk to her) and that her and her family will be in my prayers.

Hi everyone Thank you all so much. I can't tell you all what it means to me right now to know that even though I've been a stranger you still care and are there for me I just wanted to let you all know Dad is doing okay. He's been transferred from his local hospital to the big one over here and I got to see him tonight. He looks very fragile and he's not quite himself but he was making a few jokes and stuff.
He has to have an angiogram tomorrow and possible angioplasty (sp?) and he also has to quit the smokes (which I am going to do with him so we can suffer withdrawal together!). I'll let you all know how things are going whenever I can.
Thanks again for caring
-------------------- Amy
