Greetings All, I saw my nuerodoc this past tuesday and he said
the MRI on my brain looked just fine, no underlying vascular
problems that would promote strokes. However, I saw my family
doc on wednesday and he said my BP was running to high(162/94)
so I have to go in monday morning and he'll probably up my
meds.I leave for Chicago monday aft. at 2 pm. I will be
staying at my sister's at 4231 N.Leavitt St.(773-348-0905),
if any of the area IBS'ers want to go safe food shopping at
Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. Well, have a Merry Christmas
or Happy Hannakuh, and a Happy New Year!

Nice to see you in the Living Room, Bob! I'm glad your docs are keeping an eye on you and it sounds like you're in good hands.
I'm too many states away to go shopping, so I'll just dream of some magically-safe Trader Joe's Key Lime Pie. *drool*

Glad to see you on the boards and have a great time in Chicago with your sister. Your BP is too high and hope the doc can give you good meds to lower it. Another thing - avoid salt or limit your amount.

Very good! And very illegal. If you try some, have a bathroom and 2 rolls of paper handy.
I dream of the magic kind, the fantasy food that tastes just as good as the real thing but with no bad tummy effects. Oh yeah, no calories and fat free too.
