Honestly, I think it is disingenuous to post under two different names and then answer yourself. But, that is just my opinion.

You have to wonder, do those people who have several handles have arguments between the various handles? Pretty strange, eh?

LOL. Hadn't thought about that, I have to admit. No, the one (two?) I'm thinking of always agrees with herself, which at least makes for peace in the household.

LOL! Tell your husband I've met double that number, easy.

If course I might be just a figment too. All smoke and mirrors and smoked salmon.

I know someone is using two different user names on the Diet Board - and answering herself sometimes.

WHAAAAAT??? Why would someone do that? What's the point? Am I just being naive here? What am I missing?

Gees, talk about needing to "get a life"......!

...like a rigged auction or election! I mean, someone could ask for an opinion on whether something worked and this person would effectively be "voting" twice.

Weird!

Hmmm, well I can vouch that Melitami (Melissa) is real and she can for me! This has got to be someone with no photo up, hasn't it?

First, I'm glad you're staying. I didn't read whatever the latest brouhaha was, but I've always found you very level-headed and good at expressing your opinion without trashing anyone else or anyone else's opinion. Valuable qualities, both.

Second, while I was thinking about people leaving the Boards, my husband was putting together broken quotes for his puzzles Board. One of the quotes he used was:

Quote:

You can leave in a taxi. If you can't get a taxi, you can leave in a huff. If that's too soon, you can leave in a minute and a huff. (Duck Soup)

Cuz I'm not that smart!.... Must be a computer whiz, cuz it took me forever to figure out how to post (under one name) on this board.

If I wanted to pull that off, I'd have to call my son in college and get him to help his Mom figure it out.

Also, I'd never be able to keep that straight! Answering myself under a different name? Geez! I'd have to write notes all over my desk to remind myself who's saying what to whom....and then I'd lose the post-it-notes!

having helped to open a can of worms. I appreciate your derailing this and I am sorry about my part in it. The topic of multiple handles is important to me, but I wish I'd approached it differently.
