Angela and I had dinner last night

It was so nice of her to drive to Royal Oak to meet me. We had a nice dinner and chatted. I even enjoyed a glass of wine! I was SHOCKED by the number of cards she handed me from everyone here. I didn't want to cry at the restraunt so I waited until I got home and Will and I sat together on the couch and read each of them together. We were both so touched by the outpouring of love and support in each and everycard. That was very special to us. As someone who has always had a difficult time making friends and have been a bit of a loaner, that stacked of cards touched me very deeply. I've brought them with me to work today so I can continue to reading them and know how lucky I am to have such special friends. Ok, I'm crying now, but its a good cry! I just wanted to know how much you have all helped me. I wish I could go to everyone one of you and give you a great big hug!

I had a great time Michele! It's so easy to talk to you! You are a great person and I admire your strength and drive. Speaking of drive...... Holy moly was it bad driving home!! I got caught in a snow/sleet/frezing rain mix!! I finally made it home around 10:15pm. I was so tense. But I did really enjoy my visit!!! I can't believe we had school today. It is so bad outside right now and paretns are furious and picking their kids up!! I still feel a bit yucky today but I am loading up on the Vitamin C and the Cold-Ease tablets!! DOn't forget to e-mail me your address so that I can forward you the rest of the cards that I haven't received yet!! Have a good day hon!!

I know that you are all here for me. The cards were so very special and I carry them with me so when I feel sad and Lonely I can read them but I also know that EVERYONE here, whether they sent a card or not, cares very much. It has helped me more than you guys can imagine just to come here and be able to type out my thoughts and feelings, knowing I won't be judge and that you guys understand even if you don't always know what to say! Love to all!!

Thanks you guys but I didn't do anything extra special. I just comforted a friend in need the way I would comfort any other friend in need. You guys were amazing with all of the support. I am still getting a few cards in the mail and I will forward them to Michele to her house!!
