Worst attack in months today!

Hey all,
I had a really bad stomach day today! And as always, it happened a couple of days after I'd been like, "Wow, my stomach hasn't been sick in a couple of days" and then it gets sicker than it has in AGES!
I was at work, thinking, "How nice, working on Sunday, so relaxing" and then WHAM!! I had really bad cramps and pains... worse than I usually get, more like the really bloody awful cramps I got during my colonoscopy prep that were so painful.
I had to rush off to the washroom like 6 times in the morning. I had to go to my supervisor as they monitor all our phones to see when we're on the phone, etc and say, "Sorry about disappearing so often, I am not feeling well at all" and she was okay with it, but ugh.
Anyway, the silver lining is that the attack was really bad but I made it through the day. My boss asked if I was okay, and I said, "Yep" and carried on working and in the past I always would have been so anxiety ridden that I would have had to ask to go home, and then spent the rest of the day feeling guilty about leaving.
So bad attack, but after much immodium and pain meds and ginger/peppermint tea.. I made it through.
Just hope tomorrow doesn't throw me another one!

Attacks like that are just awful but congrats on sticking it out at the new job!! I hope your tummy is behaving a bit better today! Hugs!
