Hi I know this is a totally random question, but I have had a condition called "Geographic tongue" since I was really little. I freaked out one day looking in the mirror when I saw my tongue looked like a map!! My doctor said it was not a concern just my tongue was sensitive to things I ate. Anyone else have this? (sorry about the big pic)

I've heard of this, though I don't have it myself.

If you've noticed a sensitivity and it's uncomfortable my only suggestion is to avoid it. I've read that people who have geographic tongue are more sensitive to hot and spicy items, so it is something to watch out for, perhaps.

I wish you and your tongue luck!

I know someone who lives in Lincoln Park (by Heather in MI) who has a geographic tongue.. she loves DH's mild salsa but won't come near the hot stuff...
