Pages: 1 Geographic tongue?       #220313 - 10/19/05 02:32 PM Edit Reply Quote SCgirl Reged: 05/24/05 Posts: 148 Loc: Charleston SC Hi I know this is a totally random question, but I have had a condition called "Geographic tongue" since I was really little. I freaked out one day looking in the mirror when I saw my tongue looked like a map!! My doctor said it was not a concern just my tongue was sensitive to things I ate. Anyone else have this? If you've noticed a sensitivity and it's uncomfortable my only suggestion is to avoid it. I've read that people who have geographic tongue are more sensitive to hot and spicy items, so it is something to watch out for, perhaps. I wish you and your tongue luck!
