Yep, it sucks.
I have been on time this week. I am dying to look at her book to see if she still amrked me as coming in late. By the way SHE WAS 6 MINS LATE this morning. I'll have a talk with her ASAP. There's just NO EXCUSE for coming in late. Some people...ha ha

She has it "out" for me. True. When I asked her to reevaluate my job level (I am doing tasks that are the same ones as my co-workers who get paid $10K more than me). Her response was (and I'm NOT kidding!!) "This is an entry-level job, I thought you'd stay here for a year and then move on". It's been almost 6 years and that comment was super insulting. I can fill in for three different people here: the designer, the cartographer (maps) and the Print Coordinator. I told her that buy she didn't seem to care that I knew how to do 3 jobs, plus my own so 4 JOBS!!
She knows I'm good at design stuff. I wanted to sign up for a college design class and have them pay for it since it was relavent to my job. She told me I could teach the class so she couldn't justify sending me to it.

I don't know your future plans, but are you planning to leave soon? Will you be moving to New York when you get married? If so, at least you can look forward to that. Better things to come!
And yeah, those remarks of hers were very insulting!

Honestly, until Tommy went into such detail, I never fully understood what it's like for Tina every day.
I'm sure now that BL has some perspective on what Tina lives with, she wouldn't assume that Tina is arrogant. I think she was just talking about how frustrating people's tardiness is for her.
Frankly, BL, I agree with you. If someone doesn't have a legitimate medical reason, I think people should be on time. It shows respect for the others who might be affected and respect for your employer.
Hugs, BL! I know you tend to take things to heart, so I hope you're not taking this thread too personally.

I can't believe your boss! I want to praise you for putting up with her for 6 years, and for leaving. Sounds like you can do much better with another job, and should get appreciated more for your hard work.

Well, that is why someone shouldn't comment on something unless they know the facts of the issue. For example, I am a huge politics junkie, I love discussing various issues. But, if something comes up that I am not well informed on, then I won't comment on it.
I am sorry if BL is hurt, but what she said to Tina was hurtful as well.
