I wasn't expecting to actually FIND one but I did and I'm in love with it and it fits me like a glove. I'd post pictures but I don't want Tommy seeing it. Only, a week before the wedding (literally), I realized that it needed a major alteration. It ended up being cheaper to buy another dress. But I find looking through the bridal magazines I find a lot more bridesmaid dresses that I like. Flowers should be fun too, do you know what flowers you want to carry at your wedding? The wedding one were too over the top and way too expensive! It's the way to go! Not sure about flowers. Coloured calla lilies are very pretty too. That's awesome that you chose a bridesmaid style dress, they have beautiful styles! You're right the wedding dresses are too over the top...personally I'm worried about what if I need to go to the bathroom...I don't want to have an entourage holding up my dress...that would be so embarrassing..lol. I think for bridesmaid flowers I'm going to go with Gerbera daisies they have such cool funky colours. As for wedding shoes (and this is just my 2 cents) don't feel you have to spend a bunch of money on shoes at the wedding salon, especially if no one is going to see your feet. I did spend money on my shoes & had them dyed to match my dress. They were comfortable, yes, but I could have found a better price elsewhere and found a reasonably priced pair of shoes I'd be likely to wear again. I haven't had my wedding shoes on since. I could have bought a nice pair of good old Doc Martens for what they cost, and I'd wear those for another 5 years!
