Urine in blood found in dip-stick culture. No white blood cell abnoramlities in urine. Doc explained this likely means it isn't a UTI. She wants to make sure my anatomy is ok, check for kidney tumors/stones and bladder cancer. No antibiotics. Will get urine culture Mon. morning. Kidney x-rays within 2 weeks...and cystoscopy 2 weeks.

I'm feeling overwhelmed.

I'm not going camping Sunday...hubby will go alone. Feeling really bummed.

Still haven't heard back from my psychiatrist.

I'm sorry I'm so bummy It's just too much sometimes!

If I need hubby...I will tell him...and he'll stay with me Sunday. Please pray that I won't need him...I want him to have a good time without worrying about me, he deserves it!

Thanks my far-away-family *hugs*

P.S. To those of you that insisted I go to the ER...unfortunately, you were right! This is NOT something that could wait...thank you for your love and support, as always! Oh...the Lamictal side effects actually might not be lamictal side effects...it could whatever I am sick with now that was making/is making me feel this way!

I am so glad that you had this checked out right away. I hope they figure out what is causing this and can get you feeling better soon! I will pray that it's nothing serious.

Don't worry about hubby! You need to rest and get yourself better.

I wish I were there. I'd fix you a big cup of hot tea. (((Big hugs))))) coming your way!!!! Hang in there! Hopefully you will know something on Monday when the test results are back.

Sorry Ruchie that you're having so much trouble At least they're getting on top of things and are going to get you all checked out. Have you looked into whether any of the meds you're on could potentially cause these kinds of problems? I know one of the psychiatric meds I was put on once made me unable to pee...so you never know what can happen.

Hang in there, and remember we'll be here for you this weekend if you need us. Email me if you need anything

Oh hon, how crappy. Hope it's something that's easy to sort. At least you now know why all the UTI remedies weren't working!

Email me if you want, I'll be checking in today and tomorrow before going to Scotland.

Sure glad you went to the ER. My family has a history of kidney stones (not me yet). In the last year I've taken my husband, son, daughter and grand daughter to the ER passing stones. All of them had a CAT scan at the ER that showed exactly where the offending stone was adn that each of them still had stones in their kidneys, not yet entered the urethra. The good news was that as soon as the stone passed the pain instantly went away. Did they do a CAT on you at the hospital?
