Alright ladies (and the occasional male ;P), line up and tell me what chick-flick (or even not-so-chickish) movies make you feel GOOD! Only three mind you!

-Calendar girls
-Sister Act I and II
-Moulin Rouge (Ewan McGregor is the greatest singer ever)

I'm normally an action movie person, I'm not much for comedy or anything, but those three are the greatest!

This is a great topic! While I love Moulin Rouge (and agree about Ewan being awesome!) I don't think I can include it because it always makes me sad.

I think I would have to say Pretty Woman, Bridget Jones's Diary I and II, and Center Stage (I love the dancing!).

3. Empire Records

...and IF I had a 4th I'd say Woodie Allen's Annie Hall (not really a big Woodie Allen fan but I looove that movie!)

I love the Anne of Green Gables movies too! I've been watching them since I was a kid...I had forgotten about them. My mom used to always rent them for me whenever I was sick. I remember when they came out with that third installment recently I was so excited, but still haven't seen it. I'd like to buy them on DVD but they're so expensive! They're like $38 each here!!!

I have them all on video but want to buy themon DVD. I seen them at wal mart for 15.00 dolloars a dvd! I am putting them on Christmas wish list! My mom and I would make a day out of it and watch the whole thing from beging to end. She had taped them. I think I was in Fourth grade.

I was also so excited when I seen the new one! It is good but I still love the first two the best! i can't wait til kenna is old enough to share them with her!
Hugs

I've got the flu. I love doing Monty Python marathons, too.
Instead of a bowl of popcorn I'll be holding a barf bucket. (Although, popcorn would probably kill me.) Why don't you bake some of those illegal brownies and come over!!!
I love Jean Claude Van Damme movies, too when I'm in this mood. Oh, and how could I forget all the Terminator movies. There are just too many "feel good" movies...like "The Return of the Mummy." I'll stop now.

I love musicals.

Wizard of Oz was the first movie I saw with a friend (no adults) at the movies.

West Side Story

Grease (makes feel like a teenager again)

Any of the old musicals from the 30's and 40's

Chorus Line was great on stage, didn't care for the movie much

Oh .. Singing in the Rain is right up there, too
