...........plugged the toilet at work. Not joking! There was no plunger there so I quickly ran out. There's a drain in the floor so it should be ok. OMG!!!! Embarassment BEYOND belief. It's in the basement so who knows when someone will find out it's broken. OMG!!!! 
I told Tommy but just thought I should share it with you guys as you'd understand and maybe be able to have a laugh over it. Maybe I'll laugh tomorrow...

Oh no, there's 4 floors here with at least 4 more bathrooms (some floors have 2). But none of the other ones are private so my tummy better be ok. I think it is. Someone brought in fatty muffins from a donut shop and I had one and boom.... you know the rest...

Ugh! No I don't think anyone saw. That's why I use that washroom, it's very secluded and private.
Funny thing happened as I was leaving. I took the elevator upstairs so nobody would see me walk by and this stupid guy started chatting me up. I was like "ya whatver, I am waiting for the elevator and want to get out of here ASAP!!!!" Ugh! Little did he know what just happened. ha ha

When I first started this job 5 years ago now (hope they forgot about it).... I plugged the toilet two times in the first month (low flow toilets).... one time the water came pouring out and I had to grab dirty towels that were on the floor... (I work out of a house....well my office is the garage turned into an office). When the daughter came home... (she is in her late 20's)but it was summer vacation from college. I had to ask her where the washer was, I could not find it. She said, oh.... don't worry about it, I will wash them.  How embarrassing!! LOL

I know your embarrassed but this just made me chuckle as I imagined you running peeking out from behind the door of the bathroom looking to see if anyone was around, and then running like heck!
No one will ever know it was you! In fact, you could call maintainance and complain that you needed to use the bathroom, but that you found it all stuffed up and can't use it!

That happened here last night, but I don't know who did it. It happens here a lot. Unfortunatly, my room is right next to the bathroom, so besides hearing what they are doing in there I get the aroma, too. What a life.

Hey Tina!!!
When I first came to NY and was living with my in laws (and was still really shy infront of them) I was taking oat bran on my oat meal and had been a bit backed up. One morning I did the HUGEST LOG EVER - it was perfect, so beautiful...a poo I had been longing for. Anyway, I tried to flush and there it stayed. I stupidly tried to flush again and suddenly the toilet (and they have a beautiful posh toilet) started filling with water and it looked like it was never going to stop. I was like "PLEEEEASE GOD make it STOOOOPPP) and it literally stopped flowing just at the brim of the toilet. Another inch and my poo would have been everywhere. I called my husband who was at work and had never used a plunger before so didn't know how to use it. i worked it out.
Another story - a friends sister (who doesn't even have IBS) was once babysitting at someones house and did a huge log that refused to be flushed down. So she took it out the toilet, put it in a plastic bag and brought it home with her! hahahahahaha - when we heard this story we couldn't get off the floor with laughter.
Today I officially certify you with experiencing what happens to everyone at some point - the non flushable blockage poo award goes to Tina! woooo hoooo.

A friend's mother used to tell the story of how, when she first came to this country, she met her in-laws for the first time. She was about to have really bad D and someone was in the bathroom, so she went in her room and grabbed a plastic bag out of her suitcase. Well, thinking she was being really smart she did what she had to in the bag. THEN she realized it was one of those bags with the little airholes in it and the D was coming out of the holes like a fountain. YUCK!!!!!

I flushed twice, it didn't go down, third time it overflowed so I ran out of panic. Yikes!
You are soooo lucky that you didn't have an overflow at hubby's parents. Yikes, that would have been terrible!

Well thankfully, it was just toilet paper in the toilet and not anything else so it won't be gross at all. somehow the poo flushed but left all the toilet paper behind which clogged the toilet.
Oh god, I'm still embarassed! Maybe I should go look and see if it's fixed???

Sorry, I can't stop laughing!!! (But, I've done that here and it's literally scared the crap out of me--I'm not good with waterworks/floods. I've done it at my grandmother's house, too and flooded the dear old lady's house.) It's one of those catch-22 laughs that give you the hiccups.

except being a D I usually plug it up with exessive amounts of dunny paper I remember at one of our old rental places I stopped the loo up one day and had to call maintenance. Luckily Kahlea was toilet training at the time so I mumbled something about kids and using too much loo paper!
Another time it almost happened at the in laws holiday house. Picture little old me in this HUGE 3 story posh house and watching the water rise and rise and rise to the brim. Luckily it went down again after leaving only a centimetre of water free toilet bowl but after that I was too scared to use that loo again in case I clogged it more!

I think it's illegal to tape someone in the washroom isn't it?? I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to put cameras in washrooms in Canada....I don't know about anywhere else though.

I don't think the camera is in the washroom. That's not legal in the U.S. or Canada. I think the camera is located outside the washroom just in the vicinity...

I have had the wait-til-the-tank-refills-so-I-can-try-to- flush-again-and-hopefully-my-log-will-disappear moment every couple of weeks, its awful especially when there's a toilet talker in the bathroom!

oh its the WORST when there's a toilet talker...what is wrong with those people - do they not understand the concept of pooing in peace - I can just picture myself frantically throwing a TON of loo paper in the toilet in time to catch my poo and to silence the plop sound!!!
In NY I can flush my loo as many times as I like - just hold the handle down and its like the water keeps flowing etc...but at home in London..I had to wait three years for the tank to refill to reflush...
Tina...you could have reflushed UNLESS your log had actually blocked the hole from the toilet to the tank and then if you would have flushed you would have caused a lovely murky brown flood...hahahahahaha....can you imagine the embarrassment arrgggghhhhhh.
This is why we were created to poo in the wild, in forests etc...not in toilets! I will never forget my oat bran log!
Must get back to work...being naughty being on here (but will obviously come back tee hee hee)
