Well, it has only been the last week or so that we have really been getting the hot weather here but today is really hot.
I walked all the way to this clothing store that is about half an hour walking on a hill in the super duper heat (for Vancouver esp!). As soon as we got there, I needed to go potty POSTE HASTE!
My friend, who I told I was trying to lose weight, wouldn't let us take a taxi home so we walked all the way back up the hill.
My tummy is very churny, but I am glad to be back in my nice cool basement suite.

Does your friend know about your IBS? If she does she should have been considerate enough to take a cab. I hope your tummy feels better soon.

It does that to me too. When I go to hot places I take Immodium as a preventative now.

Thanks for your concern, that is so sweet! 
My friend does know about my IBS, and so she had us take a route where I could stop whenever I wanted to use the potty. If I had insisted, she would have let me. I kind of mentioned it half heartedly, she said no, and I easily let it go 'cause I need the exercise.
Otherwise, I woulda had to be a lot more assertive!

this heat is miserable. I feel like I can't even think. This whole summer is flying by without even being able to enjoy the outdoors!! So far I haven't noticed any real IBS symptoms from the heat, but it sure does make me irritable!!

I can't STAND the heat, but the one good thing is that (being I'm a -C- ) it makes me go to the bathroom a little more. I could never stand it as a D.

Heat does it for me too 
Went home for lunch, ate lunch, 15min later in the potty. No pains or anything, just felt like what I just ate came out. Wonder why this happens that heat does this! Stinks cause I really like being out in the sun
